Combination of chemicals applied to naturally curly hair that breaks down the structure releasing the curl. It usually damages the hair, if not at first then over time for sure. I wouldn't recommend a home made concoction, chemicals are dangerous. Sorry I am not aware of any organic combinations that would do the trick. They do have products to put on your hair before or after manual straightening. Some of them are fabulous, eliminating frizz and adding sleeky shine. They are available at the local drug store or beauty supply store. For a little $ you can go to a salon and have them straighten for you and apply a product they recommend.What is hair relaxer?
Sorry this has no relevance to your question but you replied to my question about hair and beauty and said you use olive oil on your hair. Could you elaborate on that? I would like to try it, but do I use the oil on wet hair? m Before or after shampooing? Does it make your hair greasy?
