My daughter is 7 and has mixed hair. Can I use this product? Is it safe. Will it make her hair straight? Or just a little easier to manage?Just for me no-lye hair relaxer?
The only way to know for sure is to follow all the directions and do a strand test. Everyone's hair is different. If you have problems, take her down to a good local beauty school and the students and teachers there can work with you.
DO NOT let the mixture get on your child's scalp and NEVER EVER use this brand, decide you don't like the results, and put another brand or type of relaxer over it. That will cause a nasty chemical reaction and result in serious melting or breakage. Stick with one brand ONLY. When I was in beauty school I saw firsthand what mixing brands and types of relaxers will do to hair. I'm glad we used a mannequin head - that's all I'm sayin'!Just for me no-lye hair relaxer?
If it is done correctly it should make her hair straight. There is a new product out there that makes it easier to manage. It is a texturizer for children especially mixed children. It is like a relaxer but it doesnt make it straight it detangles and makes hair easier to manage.
