How Long after you get a relaxer can you wash your hair?

I need a black chick or someone who does hair to answer this cause i get relaxers every once in a while but i think i wash it to earliy..How Long after you get a relaxer can you wash your hair?
It really depends on the type of hair you have. Every black person's hair is not the same. For instance me and my friend both have relaxers and i wash my hair once a week, and she washes hers every other day. The thing to know is if your hair gets oily often. If it does then try once every 4 days or something like that. If not then try once a week. You dont wanna dry your hair out either, so every time you wash it, i suggest you do a deep conditioner. How Long after you get a relaxer can you wash your hair?
