Actually it depends on the texture of your hair. Just saying ';white'; does not really indicate what you might need. For instance, if you have fairly thick VERY curly/coily hair (think Nicole Kidman in her early career), then you can absolutely use a mild relaxer, which I suspect she has been doing all these years with the straight hair. Remember however to always get a relaxer done by a professional though to avoid damage!





However, if your hair is just mildly curly/wavy then you are better off getting the ';Japanese Thermal Straitening'; which is only offered in salons. This type of process is ONLY for people (of any background) whose hair is straight at the root and simply wavy/mildly curly down the shaft or at the ends.What happens if a white person uses a relaxer in there hair? does it damage it or anything?
a relaxer straightens just as a perm curls. Just make sure you do a strand test because what works for one person might not work for you.
i find hair relaxers brutish to hair avoid at all costs

i havent met and heard that any white person had their hair Relaxed, but i dont think ';race'; will matter...it should be with the hair and the 'chemicals' that are being used for Relaxing your hair..

if your going to use relaxer make sure your hair is in good condition and not over dyed i have had it done at salon after bad perm it took ages and charged alot another time after i had aperm for ages and didnt want in any more i decided to purchase cheap perm kit used relaxer only pour through hair colmed non stop for about 10 minutes staight hair very pleased make sure you deep conditions for a few weeks to keep moisure in hair shafts and scalp good luck bye have a nice day jackie

yes it's okay as long as it's curly but it won't make your hair flat as paper it just takes away the tightness of the curls but make sure you never do it more than every six months or it will dry out your hair

any one using a relaxer too often with out good conditioner- as with any harsh hair treatments will cause some long term damage.
A relaxer on a white persons hair makes the hair curly. A relaxer is the same thing as a perm. So, a perm makes black hair straight also. It just does different things depending on the shape of the individual hair.
It makes it more susceptible to damage so if you have fine hair and really want to get a perm use a light version and not supreme but otherwise it make it have more volume.
hair relaxers always damage hair, black people or white. Its the chemical. not the race.
OMG there are different types of relaxers for textures of hair running from coarse to fine! But if you use the wrong one you will BE BALD HEADED no matter what race you are!
