Use the back of a large tooth comb to smooth the relaxer on to your hair beginning just at the base of the hairline at the crown of the head and moving up and out towards the edges. It should be like applying a thin layer of frosting to a cake. Do not rub the chemical into your scalp. It's also a good idea to apply a thick layer of vaseline to your hairline and the top of your ears to protect yourself from a chemical burn.





I'd suggest rinsing the chemical out within 5 minutes.
