Hello, I am a licensed cosmetologist. There are no ways to strip a relaxer out of hair. The only way to get rid of it will be to cut it out. I would start with giving it a good trim every 4 weeks, and eventually it will grow out. Good LuckHow to strip relaxer out of hair?
Unfortunately, that's impossible, period. Do NOT let anyone tell you they can do it. She'll have to wait for it to grow out.

When I decided to go back to natural, I decided to transition into it by relaxing my hair ';half-way'; by mixing HALF the instructed amount of activator into the cream base. Turned out I liked it so much I've kept it that way! Now I have shoulder-length loose curls.
Please do not use anymore chemicals as your daughter's hair will drop to the floor. Hair can only withstand so much. The best thing to do is to let it grow out. Trust me! Consider hair extensions or a wig to conceal the hair if its unsightly.
