Hair relaxer HELP!?

i have shoulder length thick hair that looks like an afro when i come out of the shower. i have to straighten it every single day, and i heard about using a hair relaxer to make it straighter, so i have a few questions:





can i buy a hair relaxer at a place like CVS or shoprite?


how much does it cost?


what is the best brand to use?


is it damaging for your hair?


what should i watch out for while in the process of relaxing my hair?


do i have to relax it everytime i take a shower?

DONT NOT RELAX your hair your self.. I have been relaxing my hair for ever not I'm at the point where i can go to the hair store buy some dark %26amp; lovely ( a brand of relaxer) and do it my self but the inisial treatment must be done by a professional .. until you know how your hair will react... i believe that all hair types are different so use a professional.. to be on the safe side..
